Beginners Wheel Throwing: Wheel throwing classes are 2.75 hours per week 18+ you will learn the essentials of wedging, centering, trimming and glazing. Taught by a professional potter, this class begins with a weekly 20-30 min demo and will focus on various forms. A fun into to wheel throwing. Sign up below, follow link to the calendar!

Wheel Throwing II : Tuesdays & Thursdays - 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Refine your throwing skills and explore various forms. Weekly demonstrations are given in this mixed beginner/intermediate class. One 25lb. bag of clay, glaze firing and instruction included in price. Two additional bags of clay available at $30.00 each. One makeup class allowed with prior arrangement. Class can be taken multiple times as projects will become more advanced. End of session discussion will take place at the last class. 18+ Offering New student specials! Handbuilding & Sculpture Hand-building session focus on the foundations of working with coils, slab and pinch methods. Join us as we take a sculptural approaches to vases, jugs cylindrical forms. Challenge your skills and acquire new ones! No experience is necessary. This class is open to all levels, ages 16+ and can be taken multiple times. Sign up below, follow link to the calendar!

Classes have limited seating and provide ample working space in a safe and friendly environment. No labs are offered unless stated. Join us in this fun and safe environment. Mask & sneakers required.*Sneakers and shorter finger nails required for all classes.

Materials: One 25lb bag of clay provided, glaze, and firing included. Additional bags of clay available for purchase.

We are operating in a limited capacity and are taking extra precautions to provide a safe working environment. Handled Pottery Studio is outfitted with taller ceilings and large garage doors that allow ample air flow. Additionally, we have made studio changes in our layout that meet social distancing recommendations while reducing class sizes.

Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy:

Classes are non-transferable and non-refundable. All participants are expected to be on time. Those arriving 15 mins or later forfeit both the class and/or a refund. Participants attending “Date Night“must be 18+ Appointments needing to be rescheduled, must do so 72 hours prior to the appointment time. Refunds my be granted under the following circumstances

-Personal illness that prevents the student from working with clay or at the studio. A physician’s note maybe required as proof.

  These kind of exceptions are granted at the managers discretion, and do not include changes in priorities, vacations plans, or jobs.

-In the event of missed classes, students are welcome to attend our Saturday open lab. As our classes are often full, we cannot guarantee, that there will be a wheel for use.
