Micah Hernandez
OWNER
Favorite Technique: Resist, Mishima & Sgraffito. Micah is the owner and founder of Handled Pottery Studio, and can be found teaching advanced skill leveled classes and specialty workshops. Micah, holds a BFA with a concentration in Ceramics from the Kansas City Art Institute. Micah continued their post-baccalaureate work in ceramics at The Ohio State University. Micah’s work can be found in private collections throughout the United States.
Olivia Strand
STUDIO MANAGER
My name is Olivia and I have been working with clay for 3-4 years. I love teaching my classes and aim to help everyone have a good time! My fav types of work are more organic natural pieces that may appear unfinished. Nothing in life can be perfect and pottery really teaches us that!
Tariq Johnson
INSTRUCTOR
Tariq started working with clay 5 years ago as an undergrad at San Diego State, and has been teaching for the last 2 years. Tariq recently completed his bachelors degree in Ceramics, and is now teaching at Handled. Tariq loves pottery.
